The Nitro concept.

Originally, Nitro was a special bitumen paint formula, able to cover chromed colors which basically differentiate themselves by other colors because of their pigment and resin. The first Nitro had a great coverage but some details could be improved, especially weather resistance and finish effect.
These needs were enough to come back working and make a new product with the top quality requested by Montana Colors brand.

With this target a new formula rose:

The new formula is the result of a strict collaboration between Montana know how and writers’ experiences and advises. We needed acrylic paint with an ultra fast dry, an extraordinary thick pigment and a perfect compatibility with chromed colors. The project was not easy, but we got it!! Our staff made a great job but the target wouldn’t be hit without the writers’ help: they are both our inspiration and our best and most exigent critics ever.

One concept, two products,
two philosophies.

Once we developed the perfect formula, we still had to choose format, pressure and the philosophy of the product. In this step, we decided for Nitro 2G (as Second Generation) to be a concept unifying two products, a low pressure and a high pressure system.
Here’s a short technical explanation of the different application of both products, 2G and 2G Colors.

Nitro 2G.

Born as a perfect black to enjoy with silver chrome, 2G has a comfortable low pressure valve system, for clean and skinny lines and details. Drying as fast as you paint, this products presents an incredible coverage. Similar to Alien use, 2G had a great success, being the 2007 top seller and improving dramatically the Nitro concept.

Nitro 2G Colors.

The second version of 2G is born with the target of taking the maximum advantage of Silver Killer formula. The can is a 500ml format, a really fast high pressure system valve, excellent coverage and an incredible quick dry. Basically a 360 degrees spray can.
The main characteristic is, obviously, the range of matt colors, the top ten Montana’s colors: Silver chrome, Black, White, Light Red, Orange, Light Yellow, Light Blue, Marine Blue, Guacamole Green and Vampire Violet.
Mix them with chrome to enjoy the best of Silver Killer formula!

Nitro 2G is available with standard Skinny Pro Cap included, to take the maximum advantage
by its soft valve.

Nitro 2G is available with standard Skinny Pro Cap included, to insure clean standard lines.
Due to its characteristics we also advise the special Pocket Cap. This super fast cap has a very good resistance to high pressure and it offers a nice “dirty” Old School finish. Essential for Bombers!

Both Nitro 2G also supports the following caps.

Both Nitro 2G and Nitro 2G Colors have a protection lid. It’s a special homage to 70’s spray cans but it’s also the best way to avoid forgetting the cap!
